Big Swole talks WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes leaving AEW for WWE, more

Former AEW star Big Swole spoke with Steve Fall in an exclusive interview for WrestlingNews.co. Swole talked about Cody Rhodes leaving AEW and becoming a WWE WrestleMania main eventer, Ronda Rousey’s Instagram post, WrestleMania 39, and several other topics. Scroll down to watch the entire interview.

Big Swole talking about working with Cody Rhodes in AEW:

“It was amazing. Honestly, he was like a mentor. When they put me kind of in charge of the women’s division as far as keeping the peace parliamentarian, like you know, overall morale and everything, he was my go to. I would go to Cody for everything, for every idea that I had for any type of division, any type of anything, I would go to him. He was so open with the idea. I came to him first with the three strikes match and he took it straight to T.K. for me and he was like, ‘We’re going to get this done.’ He’s amazing to work with. He’s so heartfelt, so caring. He’s just overall a good guy, him Brandi.”

If Big Swole ever heard talk of him leaving AEW for WWE:

“Not anything official, of course. You know, I know people just kiki in the back. You know, we have little gossip here and there amongst friends, but nothing really concrete where it’s like, ‘Oh, he’s leaving.’ You know, I had my own personal assumptions because I’m a people watcher and I look for signs and everything. I’m like, something’s a little murky over here, but nothing really official.”

Her thoughts on Damage Control vs Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, & Lita at WrestleMania 39:

“I’m expecting some shenanigans and I want a follow through on the RAW after Mania. That’s what I would like to see. I would like to see the follow through and I would like to see initiative when it comes to these titles to actually have a storyline. That’s what Sasha and Naomi were fighting for in the first place, so we need the storylines. If not, then they need to have an open door where people can come in and actually listen to them and how they would like to be booked or have some type of open communication like that, because I’m just tired of the one offs.”
