Fans shouldn’t expect to see The Undertaker work for any other promotion except for WWE in the foreseeable future.
Earlier this year it was reported that the future WWE Hall of Famer signed a new WWE big-money deal. This came after WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon reportedly made him an offer he couldn’t refuse with big money.
At the time, there wasn’t a ton of details but what was known was the fact that this deal called for Taker to not work non-WWE dates that he had started booking.
Taker had been booked to appear at the Starrcast II convention during AEW’s Double Or Nothing weekend back in late May but was later pulled by WWE.
“The Deadman” is WWE lifer, according to a new report. Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Taker’s new WWE deal is for so many years that for all intents & purposes, it ‘s considered a lifetime deal.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when he will return to the ring. It’s will likely wrestle at WWE’s next event in Saudi Arabia on Friday, November 1 as he’s worked all of the events in the country.
