WWE still not commented on what was going on with Daniel Bryan but there is good news on him.
As noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bryan was backstage at the 4/30 SmackDown Live in Columbus, Ohio and he was checked out by medical personnel.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that Bryan was medically cleared and will be written back into storylines. Bryan was originally scheduled to wrestle Kofi Kingston in a rematch for the WWE Championship at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view but was pulled due to an undisclosed medical issue. This is why they pulled the trigger on Kevin Owen’s heel turn so quickly.
Bryan is scheduled for the European tour next week and he’s listed for Triple Threat matches against Kingston and Owens.
Since Bryan is scheduled for the European tour, that likely means he will be with the crew next week at SmackDown Live and that could be his return to TV. He is needed because he’s a top star and they need more stars on the show to keep the ratings slide from continuing. It would not surprise me if they add him to the title match with Owens and Kingston at Money In The Bank.
