Many fans may know Bill Apter from the Pro Wrestling Illustrated family of magazines. Apter has seen and heard everything in the wrestling industry and he has a new book talking about some of his experiences. Apter is the guest on this week’s Talk Is Jericho with Chris Jericho.
Apter reveals his relationships with Vince McMahon, Jr. and Vince, Sr., being banned from WWE for a while, being the person being the Andy Kaufman/Jerry Lawler angle in 1982, his thoughts on the passing of Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan and Rocky III, how he broke three ribs in the ring with Shawn Michaels, why Randy Savage wanted to kill him and how he and Randy made up before Randy’s death, and much much more.
On Jericho’s podcast, he also gives his thoughts on what happened with Chris Benoit and his family. Apter was close with Chris and Nancy and talks about his last conversation with Nancy just a couple of weeks before her death. Apter says that he believes that Benoit got in some sort of trouble and his family was murdered and when he got home then he was murdered and the people involved set the crime scene up to look like Benoit murdered his family.
