Bill DeMott on possible WWE return, women’s revolution, cruiserweight division, more



Former WCW and WWE star Bill DeMott recently spoke with Planeta Wrestling about various topics. During the interview, was asked about the women’s revolution in WWE.

“I am so proud of the Womens division, as a producer I had the honor of working with some of the best, Nattie, Beth, Eve, Bellas, Fox and then as the head coach I got to watch and help (I hope) Page, Sasha, Charlotte, Becky, Emma, so many great talented women out there right now.”

DeMott resigned as the head coach of the Performance Center in 2015. When asked about a possible return, DeMott is up for it.

“I would without a doubt go back to WWE, I’m not one to pull punches and talk crap about it. I would love to be part of the WWE in some way shape or form. I still have a lot to give and I’m loyal to who is loyal to me.”

When asked about the current WWE cruiserweight division, DeMott explained that athletes get better every generation and that the current division is different compared to WCW’s division.

“It’s a different time in this division and the athletes get better every generation / year. I’m a Ricochet and Rich Swan fan myself, but give me Malenko vs. Mysterio any time!!”
