Billy Gunn roasts Impact Wrestling champion in brutal fashion

You never know what you’ll get when you check your notifications nowadays and Chelsea Green recently discovered that if she hadn’t figured it out already. Green works as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling and recently won the Knockouts Title in a tournament to crown a new champion after the title had been vacated. Gail Kim won the title and then retired with it which is good for her, but it still left Impact Wrestling to crown a new top female.

Laurel Van Ness made it to the finals and faced Rosemary where she would win the match but she also took a couple pretty awful-looking bumps in the process. One of those nasty falls was highlighted in a recent Instagram post from LVN and it is a pretty bad looking fall.

Thanks to Reddit user AllEarsCalgary for pointing this one out because Billy Gunn got a little opinionated and decided to comment on the video. He simply said, “Do I need to say it!!!” followed by “Learn to work” which is amazingly supportive but also a pretty sick burn in the process because although that spot could have ended worse, it still wasn’t pretty at all.

It’s ironic Ness/Green had such a hard-fought match that she won because reports are she gave her notice of resignation to the company and asked for her release on the night of the tapings but they gave her the title anyway. Now she’ll have to come back and possibly fight an even harder match to lose the title. Or she could always vacate the Knockouts Championship if she’s injured because she had to pull out of the recent MLW event due to being hurt. Either way, a twosome of Zack Ryder and Chelsea Green in WWE could be pretty fun to watch, just saying.

But it looks like this is all in good fun, or at least Chelsea Green is taking it in stride. She commented back calling Billy Gunn “the worst” and inserted one of those “laughing while you cry” emojis. So in the end, it’s just another day in the life of a pro wrestler on social media.
