Blake Monroe, formerly known as Mariah May in AEW, has officially stepped into a WWE ring for the first time. The glamorous star made her in-ring debut for the NXT brand at a live event in Fort Pierce, Florida, on June 27.
In her debut match, Monroe defeated fellow NXT talent Laney Reid in singles competition. The match was Monroe’s first in over three months. Her last bout was at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view in March 2025, where, as Mariah May, she unsuccessfully challenged Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship in what was the culmination of a long-term storyline.
Now rebranded as Blake Monroe in NXT, she has already been featured in on-screen segments and has made it clear that she has her sights set on championship gold in WWE. This successful debut marks the first step in that journey.
