Bobby Lashley names who he thinks is ready to be next breakout WWE star

Keith Lee had a great run in WWE NXT as he held both the NXT Championship and the North American title at the same time. He’s been pushed as an upper card talent since making his debut on the main roster by working on the Raw brand.

Bobby Lashley has kept an eye on Lee and while doing an interview with TV Insider, he was asked whether he sees himself in the former NXT Champion.

According to Lashley, he does and thinks that if Lee would join the Hurt Business, a group that consists of himself, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin, then Lee could make the jump to the next level.

“Now that you say that, I kind of do. When I first came in, I was a major player. Then I hovered. At certain times I faced John Cena, Booker T. and JBL [John Bradshaw Layfield], but I never broke through to get that world title. Keith has earned respect from a lot of people. He has been going out there and doing everything he has to do. I think he’s the kind of person who might need a little Hurt Business in his life to take him to that next level. He is ready to breakout, as are others.”

Lee recently got engaged to Mia Yim. Lashley will make his next title defense as the United States Champion against Matt Riddle and Lee in a Triple Threat Match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event this Sunday.
