Bobby Lashley reveals timeline for possible MMA return

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley could be making a return to MMA competition.

Aside from pro wrestling, Lashley is also an MMA fighter and competes in Bellator MMA. He holds a pro-MMA record of 15-2 and last competed against Josh Appelt in October of 2016.

Lashley has put wrestling as his primary focus now that he’s back under contract with the WWE and featured on their flagship show, Monday Night Raw.

That might be changing though as he told Sky Sports in a recent interview that he could make a return to MMA this summer after SummerSlam.

“I think I am still probably going to do a couple more before it’s all said and done,” Lashley said. “I am still under contract at Bellator also, and if I go back I will give them a call and possibly go after (Ryan) Bader. I don’t want to wait too long, time is ticking. I feel great. My body is 100% so I think maybe this summer, maybe after SummerSlam.”
