Bobby Lashley vs. Rusev not happening at WWE Survivor Series

The Rusev storyline with Bobby Lashley and Lana is one of the big things being focused on every Monday night on Raw but their first pay-per-view match will not happen at WWE Survivor Series. My guess is that they have so much booked for Survivor Series that they wouldn’t be able to give proper time to Rusev and Lashley.

As noted earlier, Rusev vs. Lashley is being advertised for the TLC pay-per-view on December 15th. In most cases, the matches listed locally for future pay-per-views are not the actual plans but in this case, the matches being advertised are indeed scheduled to take place. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lashley vs. Rusev are indeed scheduled for the TLC show in Minneapolis, MN.

Here are the top three matches advertised for next month’s TLC pay-per-view:

Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match
Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin

Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley (w/Lana)

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match
Asuka and Kairi Sane (Champions) vs. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair

The Women’s tag title match is supposed to lead to a bigger match for Asuka. Click here if you want spoiler news on what they have planned for Asuka.
