It was a Glorious night at the NXT live event in Toronto on Saturday night. The show was headlined by Drew McIntyre vs. Andrade Cien Almas but the real main event for the fans in attendance was seeing their hometown guy Bobby Roode. Roode wrestled earlier in the show but was then called back out at the end of the show by McIntyre so he could give a speech.
We are told that it was a short speech and he thanked the fans, Toronto, and his parents that were sitting at ringside. Roode then walked back up the aisleway as the NXT roster came out to the stage area to give him a standing ovation.
