Booker T views Bianca Belair as the perfect opponent to elevate WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. With WrestleMania season heating up, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed potential opponents for the current champion.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T identified Belair as the “wild card” who could make a massive impact upon her return.
“I think Bianca is the wild card. I think Bianca is the one that really come back and make the huge splash when she does make the return. And in the thing about that, when Bianca come back, you know, Bianca is not the type that you could just bring back. You got to put her in a role. Gotta put in the spotlight,” Booker T said.
‘Three Years Of Training In One Night’
Booker T argued that working with someone of Belair’s caliber would be invaluable for Cargill’s development. He suggested that a match between the two would be a masterclass for the former AEW star.
“I think Jade really needs someone to be able to accent how good she could be with someone like Bianca Belair, she could really, if you know what I’m saying, I ain’t giving up wrestling lingo and whatnot, but I really think Bianca Belair’s experience could really take Jade to a place that she’s never really gone before,” Booker T explained. “And I think putting Jade in that situation would benefit her so much. I can do film studies all day with someone, but you put them in the ring with someone that knows this business. It’s like three years of training in one night.”
