Booker T Responds To David Otunga’s Claim That John Cena Was A Backstage Bully

Booker T delivered a strong reaction when asked to respond to a fan question referencing a video by David Otunga, where Otunga claimed that John Cena was a major backstage bully. While confirming the claims were “definitely convenient timing” for views, Booker T primarily focused on criticizing the character of any adult man who claims he was bullied in the wrestling business.

“Look, let me tell you something… I’ve dealt with bullies before. My thing is, when I hear these guys talk about being bullied, when I hear a grown man talk about being bullied, he’s a punk ass. That’s what I say about guys like that. I’m serious,” Booker T stated.

Booker T stressed that in his extensive career, he never allowed himself to be bullied and challenged the notion that a “grown man” should permit that behavior.

“I’ve never been bullied. It’ll be nobody’s never bullied me. In the wrestling business, in all of my years, nobody’s never bullied me. Okay? That I didn’t bully back,” he asserted.

He challenged his co-host Brad Gilmore to ask the question: “How you gonna tell a man? You know what I mean, he can’t feed his family. How you gonna tell a man he can’t? He can’t go in there and rumble like he did once upon a time. How you gonna tell a man he can’t? He can’t go out there and do it. Just one more. You can’t do it. You can’t do it, Brad”.

He concluded by reiterating his stance on those who claim to have been victims of bullying as adults in the industry.

“So when I hear people talk like that, man, that’s what I say about them, all right? I’m not gonna say it twice, but you know exactly what I’m talking about. Punk ass,” Booker T stated.
