Here is what Booker said about the video and some behind the scenes notes from filming:
Booker T talked about being in Bad Bunny’s video: “Benito, Bad Bunny, definitely kept the O.G. relevant. That’s what I always say about the game. You may not be the guy that’s on top all the time. That’s just something that’s inevitable that somebody else is going to take that spot. Guys are getting younger and younger then I have a guy like Benito that definitely has taken over the game as far as the rap game, especially in the Latin World. In the business, we have something called giving you the rub. You know, I’m going to give you the rub. Benito said let me give Booker T the rub. Somebody that I looked up to and that was because The Booker T I looked up to whooped ass. He didn’t play any games. Strictly business. No playing. No jivin’. Just business. So two kings getting together was a tag team that can’t lose. I didn’t even know you can trend on Youtube. I didn’t know that. It’s on like a steaming pot of neck bones. It’s only going to get bigger and bigger and bigger. My thing is this man, you shouldn’t be trying to get ready. You better stay ready and that’s what I’m all about.”
Booker T talked about the filming of the video: “We were actually in the back of the trailer of the semi. We were rolling. We were on the highway rolling. It was really cool. It was very professionally done. You can tell everything that went in to it was top grade, A-1. It wasn’t about going out there and just putting something out and saying, ok, there it is. It was meticulous. Everything was shot from several different angles. Benito had a whole lot to do with it as far as the making of the video and his vision and what he pictured someone else looking at and saying that’s cool. That’s what I really appreciate more than anything because I’m going to tell you right now, the camouflage, that was all Bad Bunny. That was not my suggestion at all. He wanted to wear camouflage too, so bang, it just happened. It just worked out that way. But to see a young guy who has that kind of vision in his head, it let’s me know he is on top of the game. You can tell he loves what he is doing right now at this stage of the game. I was just happy to be a part of it. It wasn’t that long of a process either. We went in and pretty much knocked it out relatively quick in comparison to how long something like that could last.”
