Booker T: John Cena Will Be Remembered For Taking Anything He Had All The Way To The Top

John Cena kicked off his retirement tour during an appearance on the premiere episode of WWE Raw on Netflix before coming one spot short of winning the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Now, he will have another shot at main eventing WrestleMania 41 by competing in the Men’s Elimination Chamber bout. If he wins, he will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title. He will retire from WWE in December 2025.

While speaking to TMZ Sports about Cena’s legacy in pro wrestling, Booker T praised the future WWE Hall of Famer.

Booker T stated, “[Cena will be remembered as] the man who took what he had, made the best out of it, and took it all the way to the top. That’s how John’s going to be remembered. He wasn’t the best wrestler in the world or anything like that. I always talk about that. You know, as far as John Cena goes, and it’s not out of disrespect or anything like that, but John Cena, he knew how to go out and do…. I always talk to my students. I say, ‘There’s no wrong way of doing it, as long as you do it right. That’s John Cena.”
