WWE’s women’s roster is better than it’s ever been and in the last decade or so there’s been more of an emphasis on what the women do in the ring and they’ve moved away from the Divas era. In the 90’s and early 2000’s, several women helped paved the way for today’s roster.
On the latest “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T was asked what his female Mount Rushmore would be:
“It’s going to be Sherri Martel, Trish Stratus, Sable, and Lita.”
On if he would referee a match in NXT:
“I’m not looking to do any reffing or anything like that. I’m good just sitting at the table. If I was offered the spot to do something like that, I probably would do it just because, you know, I’m a team player. I’m still in good enough shape to actually do it. So if the opportunity came, I would actually do it, but I’m not looking to scratch that itch, you know, or anything like that.”
You can listen to the entire podcast below. Booker also covers Bryan Danielson’s full-time in-ring retirement, his interview with The Undertaker, AEW and more.
