During this week's "Hall of Fame" podcast, Booker T shared his thoughts on R-Truth, as well as Cody Rhodes admitting he made a mistake booking the AEW title match stipulation.

Booker T was asked his thoughts on R-Truth:

"If you ask me if R-Truth has had a successful career in this business, I will say. 'Hell yeah.'"

"I mean, the guy's played his role and he's played his role very, very well. People can say whatever the hell they want to say about R-Truth, but me, personally, I'd say this guy has parlayed his success for many, many years," Booker said.

"To stick around in that company, and still be relevant in that company, you have to be doing something right. So I give R-Truth nothing but props and nothing but big praise."

Booker talking about Cody admitting it was a mistake for him to lock himself out of the AEW title picture:

"I've said it many, many times that you cannot be in the game and still be able to oversee everything that's going on properly. There's just no way," he said.

"You can't think outside the box when you're the guy that's in the box that you may have to think for. Then you got all these other players that's around that may not look at it the same way as I do. They may not like the ideas that I'm coming up with," Booker said.

"I think Cody, being in a position where he had to make decisions and then having to go out there and work, then make decisions for other guys, the focus there definitely cannot be on trying to be, like he said, the greatest wrestler in the world."

"I think Cody, being able to realize that, understand it, and have the maturity to say, 'Man, this is not working for me right now at this age', like he said, 'I think I might need to be a little bit older to want to handle those responsibilities.' I give him a lot of props for that man, because a lot of guys would never be able to admit that I wasn't ready for that. I give him big props for that."
