Booker T addressed Swerve Strickland’s recent Vlad TV appearance on his Hall of Fame podcast this week, revealing his own prior interactions with the YouTube channel. He claimed he had declined multiple invitations to appear on Vlad TV, even when offered financial compensation.
Booker T explained that he refused to participate because he was unwilling to be “exploited” or made to look foolish. He wanted any negative commentary about black individuals within the wrestling industry and understood their challenges.
In response to Booker T’s claims, Vlad TV presented a direct message exchange from 2020 showing that Booker T had initially agreed to an interview. Vlad TV revealed the interview’s cancellation due to a scheduling conflict.
