With the WWE brand extension in full effect, the company will be bringing back brand split live events beginning after Sunday’s SummerSlam PPV event. RAW branded shows will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights while SmackDown Live branded show will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights.
The first SmackDown live event will be on August 29th in Texarkana, Arkansas while WWE airs RAW live in Houston that Monday night. WWE has an international tour the following week. The brand split live events kick back up again on September 12th when WWE airs RAW live in Baltimore and SmackDown holds a live event in Fairfax, Virginia.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose, John Cena, and AJ Styles are advertised for SmackDown Live branded events.
