Braun Strowman contemplated suicide twice before talking with Vince McMahon about WWE frustrations

A new episode of “WWE Chronicle” premieres today on the WWE Network. This episode focuses on Braun Strowman.

During the episode, Strowman details his frustrations with his spot in the company last year around the time of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and noted that he went to Vince McMahon to find out where he stood with the boss. Strowman said that McMahon reassured him that he’s needed as one of his top guys. Strowman also noted that, at one point, he was considering committing suicide. Strowman said that he was losing sleep and he was stressed out over how things were going.

He said, “I got to the point where I was on the verge of I had enough. I kind of busted in on Vince one day in a meeting and I was like ‘I need to talk to you’ and he kicked everybody out of the production meeting and he sat down and talked to me. Not like boss to employee but like man to man, almost like a father son talk thing.”

Strowman said McMahon gave him confidence and that lit a fire in him to work harder. Strowman says McMahon told him that he was needed and wanted for the long haul.

He continued, “I’m very thankful to have a relationship with him like that because I might not even be here. I don’t even like talking about this out loud but I was thinking about killing myself a couple of times. That I got to that point, I should have talked to somebody sooner. I never knew how much he cared about me. I thought I was just a number in a system. That day he made me realize that I’m more important than a number I can’t thank him enough for doing that.”

The new episode of “WWE Chronicle” premieres tonight at 8 pm eastern. Check out the clip below on Strowman’s frustrations and meeting with McMahon.
