Braun Strowman joined the MLB on FOX booth to promote WWE Friday Night SmackDown

The hype for WWE SmackDown’s move to FOX continued on Thursday night when Braun Strowman joined Joe Davis and Jon Smoltz in the booth during the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs game.

Braun talked about how SmackDown runs 52 weeks per year because there is no offseason in WWE. He also talked about the travel schedule. Braun said he flew somewhere around 720,000 miles and wrestled 192 matches last year.

He promoted the “smiles on people’s faces” phrase that WWE tells wrestlers to say during interviews and he talked about his father’s softball career.

FOX deserves a lot of credit for all of the hype. They have done everything possible to make fans aware of WWE moving to their network. Last weekend, there were several ads for Friday Night SmackDown on NFL programming and more are planned for this weekend.
