Braun Strowman on WrestleMania goal: “I’ll start with a main event against Drew McIntyre”

Braun Strowman recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of SI.com to discuss a wide range of topics including already having his long-term goals mapped out. That is to headline the biggest event of the year for WWE, WrestleMania.

“I will main event WrestleMania,” said Strowman. “Hopefully more than once on my way to a Hall of Fame career.”

Strowman even predicts that he’ll headline WrestleMania 36 against Drew McIntyre. WWE will hold WrestleMania 36 on April 5, 2020 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

“I’ll start with a main event against Drew McIntyre,” said Strowman. “And I’ll tell you who will win: me.”

Strowman also commented on signing a five-year contract extension with WWE. As a result, he thinks the long term goal is to become a top champion.

“But it’s not a necessity right now,” said Strowman. “I don’t need something to boost my character. I get some of the biggest reactions out of anyone just walking out because of my sheer size and ability. It would be cool right now, but I’m here for the long haul and I have many, many more years of WWE in me. There’s plenty of time.”
