This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown featured a big unexpected match between Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles, who showed up to interrupt Bryan during the opening segment.
Sami Zayn walked out to ringside during the match because he wanted to protest. Big E walked out and a brawl broke out with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro also involved as Zayn attacked Bryan to cause the disqualification. As a result of the brawl, a six-man tag was made featuring Big E, Bryan, and Nakamura against Cesaro, Zayn, and Styles. The six-man tag ended in a DQ because of an attack on Big E by The Miz and John Morrison.
The six-man tag was turned into a 5 on 4 handicap match with Otis, The Miz, and Morrison added to the match and Sheamus added a few minutes later to make it a 10-man tag. Sheamus won the match by pinning Zayn but then a brawl broke out with Braun Strowman making his return.
