Braun Strowman had a busy night on this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw. He also set a new record.
The show opened with him working a handicap match against T-BAR and MACE only for him to then team up with Drew McIntyre against the former Retribution members for a tag team match and then in the main event, he took on McIntyre in a singles match.
Strowman beat McIntyre, which earned him the right to be added to the WWE Title match between current champion Bobby Lashley and McIntyre as it’s now a triple threat match at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view event.
WWE Stats & Info Twitter account noted that Strowman became the first Superstar in modern history to compete in televised Singles, Tag Team and Handicap matches on the same night.
“You requested it, we researched it. After reviewing nearly 1,000 records, our data shows that this Monday on #WWERaw, @BraunStrowman became the 1st Superstar in the history of @WWE/#WCW/#ECW to compete in televised Singles, Tag Team AND Handicap Matches - all in the same night.”
