The latest word is that the company believes he should be fine for his next big match. It’s been well documented that Strowman is slated to take on Monday Night RAW General Manager-Elect Baron Corbin in a TLC Match at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 in San Jose, California at the SAP Center and will air on the WWE Network.
This will be the final PPV show of the year for the WWE. After this show, then it’s onto the road to WrestleMania. This is not only a big match for Strowman but also for the company as it’s been one of the top feuds featured on Monday Night Raw as of late. Also for Strowman in storyline as WWE has added a stipulation to this match which kicked it up a notch.
That stip was if Strowman wins, he’ll challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on Sunday, January 27, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field and Corbin will no longer be the GM. On the flip side, Corbin also has something to lose, which is if he wins then he’s the permanent Raw GM.
