Braun Strowman is on the sidelines after undergoing neck fusion surgery earlier this month.
The WWE star had been out of action with a concussion that he suffered in a tag team match on WWE SmackDown, where he and Ricochet defeated The Viking Raiders, leading to him being pulled from a house show loop where he was slated to team with Ricochet against The Vikings. He returned to action about a week later.
Strowman revealed he had surgery on Instagram. While there is currently not a timetable for his in-ring return, this type of surgery will likely keep him out of action for the rest of the year.
His last match happened when he teamed with Ricochet against Alpha Academy on the May 1st episode of Raw. Strowman shared some positive news regarding his recovery on Twitter, as seen below:
Just got the green light to start light weight training again!!!! Time to rebuild the #Monster
