Bray Wyatt confronted John Cena on WWE Friday Night SmackDown

As advertised, John Cena appeared on this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown in front of an empty Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Cena was on the show to talk about his upcoming WrestleMania match against Bray Wyatt. Michael Cole noted that Cena’s feud with Wyatt from several years ago helped to give birth to The Fiend.

Cena said Bray’s downfall began 6 years ago because he gave up and got lazy so he should only blame himself. Cena talked about his losses to guys like The Rock, The Miz, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker but he only put the blame on himself.

Cena said wrestlers can get lazy and blame themselves so when given the chance, he will give them an attitude adjustment. Cena said WWE needs to invest in its future and Bray is not the future. McIntyre, Ciampa, Riddle and Ripley are names WWE should invest in because people like Wyatt don’t deserve 5th and 6th changes.

Cena said he wants to take Bray out of the equation at WrestleMania and it will be uncomfortable to watch. Cena called Bray overhyped, overvalued, and overpriviledged WWE Superstar in existence.

Bray walked into the ring to talk to Cena. Bray said Cena craves the spotlight like an addict and he doesn’t care who he buries along the way. Bray said Cena took something from him 6 years ago and he’s thought about it a lot. Bray said he wanted to smash his brain into a million pieces but something magical happened and he stopped fighting the voices and he started listening to them and they took his crooked world and turned into a majestic fun house. Bray said The Fiend helped to put himself back together and at WrestleMania it will be a slaughter.
