If you watched this week’s Smackdown Live, then you might have noticed that Bray Wyatt got hurt during the match with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler went for a roll-up and pin attempt but Bray’s leg twisted awkwardly. WWE knew immediately that something was wrong so that is why they went to commercial break. They wanted him to stop wrestling but Wyatt insisted that he was ok to continue so the match went on as planned when they returned from commercial. It actually looked a lot worse and my first thought was that he injured his calf again but it was actually a sprained his ankle. As of Wednesday morning, Wyatt was still planning on wrestling at this weekend’s live events so the injury doesn’t appear to be too bad.
Wyatt is still planning on wrestling at this weekend’s live events so the injury doesn’t appear to be too bad. If he ends up not wrestling this weekend then that could mean that the injury is worse than originally thought.
Wyatt recently returned after injury his calf muscle back in April and he sprained his ankle at last year’s WrestleMania in San Jose while he was warming up prior to his match with The Undertaker. He taped the ankle up and he still wrestled the match that night.
