Bret Hart: “I Don’t Feel That WWE Really Appreciates Me”

WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart has shared a frustrating story from this past weekend’s SummerSlam event, revealing that despite being invited by the company, he was not provided with a seat to watch the show. The incident has left him feeling unappreciated by his former employer.

Bret Hart’s Frustrating SummerSlam Experience

Speaking in an interview with a “Being The Elite” fan page, Hart detailed the bizarre situation. He explained that WWE not only invited him to the event but specifically told him they wanted him to be visible in the crowd.

“They invited me down for SummerSlam and the people from WWE told me they wanted me to be in the crowd. Then, once I got there, they told me they didn’t have any seats.”

A Lack Of WWE Appreciation For Hart

Hart contrasted his treatment with that of another Hall of Famer who was in attendance. “I noticed that Kevin Nash got a seat,” he said. The experience has clearly left a sour taste in Hart’s mouth, reinforcing his long-held feelings about his complicated relationship with the company.

“I don’t feel that WWE really appreciates me… There’s no appreciation for anything I did.”

The incident is another chapter in the complex history between Bret Hart and WWE. While he has made several appearances for the company in recent years and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for a second time earlier this year, this latest story suggests that tensions may still exist behind the scenes. The full interview can be found on the “Being The Elite” fan page’s social media channels.
