Bret Hart shares skin cancer diagnosis

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart revealed in a post on his official Instagram account that he has basal cell carcinoma (BCC), which is the most common form of skin cancer.

By looking up this form of cancer on Skincancer.org, it’s described as growing slowly but with early detection and treatment most cases are curable as it’s rare for basal cell carcinoma to spread and become life-threatening.

In the caption of the photo, he wrote the following:

“Goal for 2020 and beyond: wear more sunscreen! Basal cell carcinoma removal scheduled soon. Another opportunity to remind everyone to look after your health and #getchecked.”
