Brian Cage sends a message to fans during his absence from AEW

A few weeks after sending a cryptic post that got fans talking about his AEW absence, Brian Cage has now sent a message to his followers.

The AEW star shared footage from his match at Warrior Wrestling this past weekend with Will Ospreay. He wrote the following in the caption:

“For those who miss me and those that are against me (on this ap)…..Here’s some work I did over the weekend.”

Cage’s last televised match for AEW came against Ricky Starks on the October 6th edition of Rampage. He was part of the Chris Jericho cruise in October where several AEW stars wrestled. Cage has stayed busy as he’s worked several independent shows.

The lack of Cage being used in AEW has not come unnoticed as his wife, Melissa Santos, made an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet in November where she addressed Cage getting backstage heat over her venting about the way her husband has been utilized in AEW.

There are a lot of contracts for wrestlers coming due to in AEW with some being extended while others will be departing. Lio Rush has already confirmed that he will become a free agent next month.
