Brian Kendrick issues an apology for past controversial comments

Former WWE star Brian Kendrick took to Twitter during AEW Dynamite to issue an apology for past controversial comments that caused a backlash online. Those comments going viral caused AEW's Tony Khan to pull him from tonight's episode of Dynamite. Kendrick was supposed to make his debut in a match against Jon Moxley.

Kendrick stated on Twitter, "I apologize for all the hurt and embarassment I have caused with my words. These are not my beliefs and never were beliefs of mine, and I crossed the line."

In a follow-up tweet, Kendrick said the following: "I spread the most vile comments without thinking of the damage it would cause. I will live with this regret for the rest of my life. I am truly sorry for the pain I have caused."
