Brie Bella says Daniel Bryan considered not working WWE TV tapings during COVID-19 outbreak

The Bella Twins made an appearance on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast where Brie discussed the decision to have her husband, Daniel Bryan, work WWE TV tapings during the coronavirus outbreak.

It turns out that they did consider Bryan not working the tapings as Brie is pregnant with their second child.

Brie started off by talking about how Bryan travels back from Orlando, Florida to where they live and he stays in an Airbnb when he gets back. He then sees their doctor and waits out his symptoms until the doctor gives him the okay to come home.

“It’s been a hard process but safety is first. Bryan and I keep telling each other that this is a small time in our lives and we pray that everything goes back to normal.” She noted that they have to be grateful for their jobs and look at this situation as something that they just have to do for now. ”

Brie was then asked whether they considered Bryan not working the tapings.

“We discussed it and especially because I’m pregnant, just the risk there. So we definitely talked about it.”

Brie continued by stating that they considered also the possibility of Bryan not staying home in order to wrestle and how they can make it work. She recalled how they talked to their doctor about it and if the doctor said no to the idea of Bryan working then returning back home then they wouldn’t do it. However, the doctor gave them a lot of hope about it. Even though it’s a little pricey to do it they decided to go through with it.

“So that’s when we were like, Let’s do it then. It’s gonna take a lot of effort but it’s worth it.’”

As seen by watching WWE programming, Bryan has been featured since the outbreak. You can listen to the entire interview by clicking on the player below (Brie’s comments about the decision can be found around the 46-minute mark):
