Brie Bella Says She Hoped To Be On WWE TV Every Week After Return

Brie Bella says she expected to be used regularly on WWE Raw following her Royal Rumble return but has not been called back in five weeks.

Brie entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match at number 29 in January. Shortly after, she appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast and stated she was back full-time. However, neither she nor Nikki Bella has appeared on WWE television since February.

Speaking with Lala Kent on An Unlikely Affair, Brie addressed the absence directly. “I came back at the end of January,” Brie said. “I just assumed, oh, you’re gonna have me back every Monday. But they’re like, ‘Okay, we’ll let you know when you’re needed back in the story.’ I’m like, ‘It’s been five weeks.'”

Brie said she is hoping to return before WrestleMania, with a specific match in mind. “I would love to be able to wrestle before WrestleMania,” Brie said. “The titles are on the line and they will be at WrestleMania. Nikki and I both want to prove that we can hang with this division and that we deserve to be in that WrestleMania match to go for the titles. They just need to give me the time. I got to get in there.”

The Bella Twins had previously teased going after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The Irresistible Forces currently hold the titles and are scheduled to defend them on tonight’s WWE SmackDown in Phoenix, Arizona. For more on that, click here.
