Brie Bella: WWE Royal Rumble Return Was A ‘Last Minute’ Decision

Brie Bella made her return to WWE in the women’s Royal Rumble, entering at number 29. It was her first match since the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble. Brie had been vocal about wanting to return to WWE to be with her sister over the last year since Nikki Bella came back at the 2025 women’s Royal Rumble.

Speaking to Evan Cohen, Chris Canty, and Michelle Smallmon on Unsportsmanlike, Brie discussed the circumstances surrounding her surprise appearance. She revealed that the deal to get her back in the ring came together very late in the process, adding to the excitement of the moment.

“It was incredible. I’ll be honest, everything kind of happened last-minute. To get back in the ring with Nikki, people were like, ‘Are they going to fight each other? What’s going to happen?’ To be able to have a nice embrace with her and hug and let the world know that the Bella Twins are aligned and back together, it was really special for me. I definitely will never forget it,” she said.

The Bellas appeared on Monday’s WWE Raw, making it clear that they were going after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. The championships are currently held by Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. With the Bella Twins officially reunited and seemingly on the same page, the road to WrestleMania 42 has just become significantly more dangerous for the reigning champions.
