Brie Garcia Urged “Scared And Rattled” Nikki To End Marriage After Artem Chigvintsev Arrest

Nikki Garcia, aka former WWE wrestler Nikki Bella, and the rest of her family are dealing with the fallout from the incident involving her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, who was arrested for domestic battery in late August.

Artem called paramedics to request medical assistance for the alleged victim but then canceled it. The cops showed up, where they noticed obvious injuries on the victim’s body, and they arrested Artem.

The next day, Nikki made calls to divorce attorneys as she planned to end their marriage. She was spotted not wearing her wedding ring and filed for divorce. The case is being handed to the district attorney from the Napa County Sheriff. Napa County D.A. Spokesperson Carlos Villatoro stated that their office is currently reviewing the case. However, no decision has been made yet on the charges Artem may face.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that Brie Garcia, aka Brie Bella, was “very worried about her sister and Matteo.” She believes “any sort of violence does not fly.” Nikki is said to be “scared and rattled” by the alleged attack.

Artem is not staying at the family home as he has been at a friend’s house. Nikki is living at the couple’s home with their 4-year-old son Matteo. Garcia is seeking full custody of Matteo, but is open to having her husband have visitation rights.

Chigvintsev’s arraignment is currently scheduled for November 4.
