Lesnar vs. Femi Update
Regarding Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 plans, a match against Oba Femi is reportedly not guaranteed. Despite an interaction between the two during the 2026 Royal Rumble match, plans for a singles bout are not finalized. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the potential showdown is not confirmed.
“That’s not 100 percent by the way…it could happen. I’m not saying it’s not happening. I’m just saying that I was told this one’s not 100 per cent, and that was the Lesnar and Oba Femi match,” Meltzer said.
The speculation stems from their encounter at the Royal Rumble, where Lesnar hit Femi with a German suplex before eliminating him. Femi entered at #1 and lasted 39 minutes. Lesnar was later eliminated by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight.
WrestleMania 42 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship has already been confirmed for the event.
