Brock Lesnar being advertised for post-SummerSlam episode of RAW

There is a ton of confusion regarding Brock Lesnar’s WWE status. The current WWE Universal Champion was cage-side for UFC 226 earlier this month (Sat. July 7, 2018) and confronted UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier after his knockout win over Stipe Miocic. UFC President Dana White has confirmed that Lesnar will challenge Cormier for the heavyweight throne next.

It’s an interesting development given that Lesnar is still the Universal Champion in WWE. Fans don’t know what to expect in this regard. Lesnar could drop his Universal Title at SummerSlam to a formidable challenger, or WWE has already planted the seed of RAW General Manager Kurt Angle possibly stripping him of the title altogether.

There’s also a slight possibility that Lesnar holds on to the Universal Title, and should he be victorious against Cormier, become the first UFC and WWE World Champion in history. The latter, perhaps, is very unlikely. The most common assumption is that “The Beast” is gearing up to drop the Universal crown before heading into a training camp for “DC.”

In an interesting development, The Barclays Center recently Tweeted out conformation that Lesnar will be present for the post-SummerSlam episode of Monday Night RAW in Brooklyn, confirming a previous report by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
