Brock Lesnar confirmed for multiple WWE events

Brock Lesnar returned from hiatus on the WWE Raw 30 anniversary show last week, which led to him making another unadvertised appearance last Friday night on SmackDown to further build his feud with Bobby Lashley.

They’re tied with a win over each other, and Lashley eliminated Lesnar from the 30-Man Royal Rumble match.

There was a pitch for him to work with Steve Austin, although the WWE Hall Of Famer turned down wrestling at WrestleMania 39.

Also, WWE had plans to do a match with Lesnar and Intercontinental Champion Gunther this April. However, those plans have changed, and Gunther is reportedly slated to defend his title at Mania against two stars. For more on that, click here.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Lesnar is set to work the Elimination Chamber and Mania.

Meltzer wrote, “Lesnar has been confirmed to be working both Montreal and WrestleMania. For Mania, it could be another match with Lashley. We were only told rumors of Gunther are false and that Steve Austin, who they had contacted for Lesnar, had turned down wrestling on the show.”

Meltzer speculated that Lashley vs. Lesnar happening at the Chamber event would make sense, considering Lashley is not booked for the Men’s Chamber match.

As previously reported, Lesnar did get some heat for an unplanned spot at the Royal Rumble.
