Brock Lesnar Confirms He Will Be In The WWE Royal Rumble

Brock Lesnar has officially declared his participation in the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble. During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, “The Beast Incarnate” called in to break the news just days before the event takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“I’m heading to the Royal Rumble and I’m gonna WIN it,” Lesnar said.

The announcement confirms recent speculation regarding Lesnar’s status. A report from PWInsider Elite earlier this week stated that all signs pointed toward Lesnar being at the event. His involvement could make him a heavy favorite to win.

Lesnar previously returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2025, where he took out John Cena. He later squashed Cena in a quick match at WrestlePalooza. Lesnar would work the Survivor Series event, where he was one of the competitors in the WarGames Match.

With the Royal Rumble set to be the first to take place outside of North America, WWE has reportedly planned several surprises for the show. Lesnar’s confirmation removes one question mark about who will be in the bout. Below is the card for the show:

-Men’s Royal Rumble match for a world championship match at WrestleMania 42 (Entrants: Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, Penta, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Je’Von Evans, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Oba Femi, 14 TBA)

-Women’s Royal Rumble match for a world championship match at WrestleMania 42 (Entrants: Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Asuka, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, Jordynne Grace, Giulia, Maxxine Dupri, Becky Lynch, 13 TBA)

-WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn

-Gunther vs. AJ Styles – Styles must retire if he loses
