Brock Lesnar could be stripped of the WWE Universal Championship

Kurt Angle addressed Brock Lesnar and the WWE Universal Championship at Extreme Rules. Angle said that the original plan was for a 6-man match that would determine Lesnar’s next challenger but those plans were scrapped because Lesnar’s contract talks stalled. Angle said that Lesnar must either show up on Raw on Monday night or agree to terms on his next match. If neither of those things happen then he would be stripped of the Universal Championship. The way things were worded, it sounds like Paul Heyman will be making an appearance to accept the terms for Lesnar’s next match.

As previously noted, Lesnar is scheduled for SummerSlam and all of the talk about his contract and refusing to wrestle is just part of the storyline and it’s WWE latest attempt to get heat on Lesnar. It’s still not known who Vince McMahon has lined up for Lesnar’s next opponent but many people in the company are under the assumption that it will be Roman Reigns again.

Lesnar is not currently listed on any advertisements for Raw.  Aside from SummerSlam, he is scheduled for Raw at the Barclays Center. That is the Raw after SummerSlam.
