Brock Lesnar explains why he keeps his contracts with WWE and UFC short

Former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar recently did a rare interview with Rod Pedersen, who is the former CFL announcer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Among a wide range of topics that Lesnar talked about, “The Beast” spoke about why he keeps his contracts with WWE and UFC so short.

For years now, Lesnar has used WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and UFC President Dana White against each other as leverage when it comes to maximizing the most amount of money that he can get out of each promotion.

“Lesnar said he intentionally keeps his contracts with Vince McMahon and Dana White short so that he can jump back and forth between the two leagues.”

Lesnar was last seen in action when he lost the Universal Title to Seth Rollins at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network. He has been linked to a fight with UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier this year but the promotion has yet to officially announce the fight.
