It was announced by Adam Pearce during WWE Friday Night SmackDown that Brock Lesnar has been indefinitely suspended for his actions on tonight’s show.
Roman Reigns kicked off the show and dared Lesnar to show up. After a commercial break, Lesnar went out to the ring and he attacked Reigns. As Lesnar was about to F5 Reigns through an announcer’s table, The Usos ran out and they were also attacked by Lesnar.
Lesnar also put his hands on a cameraman and he attacked referees at ringside. Pearce was also attacked by Lesnar after he announced the suspension.
WrestlingNews.co first reported that Lesnar is not scheduled to wrestle again until the Royal Rumble and the story is that Reigns is going to break the record for longest-reigning Universal Champion in the history of the title. The idea is to push Reigns as the greatest of all-time. Reigns began to call himself the greatest of all-time on tonight’s broadcast.
The storyline suspension allows Reigns to move on to other opponents until Lesnar returns to TV in a few months.
