Brock Lesnar no longer advertised for WWE WrestleMania Backlash

Prior to WWE WrestleMania 38, Brock Lesnar Lesnar was slated to work WrestleMania Backlash on May 8th in Providence, RI as well as Money in the Bank at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on July 2nd.

Lesnar has been pulled from the listing for WrestleMania Backlash as WWE’s website is no longer advertising him. The only upcoming show that WWE has Lesnar still advertised for is Money in the Bank

Lesnar, then-WWE Champion, lost to Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a winner take all title unification match at WrestleMania 38 in what was hyped as the biggest WrestleMania match of all time. WrestleMania 38 marked the end of the rivalry between Reigns and Lesnar for now.

Reigns is now the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, who has started a program with Shinsuke Nakamura. As previously reported, Vince McMahon is keeping quiet on plans for Reigns and Lesnar.

Lesnar has worked more dates after making his return last August at SummerSlam since he made a comeback in 2012 after years away from the company. It looks like Lesnar is taking a few months off until WWE needs him back.

As of this writing, there are only two matches booked for WrestleMania Backlash – SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey in an I Quit Match and Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins.
