Brock Lesnar receives one year suspension from USADA

USADA announced on Wednesday that they have handed out a one-year suspension to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar for failing his drug tests that were collected on June 28 and July 9 for anti-estrogen drugs called clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene surrounding his fight at UFC 200 last July against Mark Hunt, which Lesnar won by decision. However, with his suspension from the NSAC, that fight was overturned to a no contest.

Back on December 15th, the Nevada State Athletic Commission settled Lesnar’s drug test case and fined him $250k of his disclosed $2.5 million purse and gave him a one-year suspension as well.

Although there has been no indication that Lesnar intends to return to the UFC to fight again, he would be eligible to fight again on July 15, 2017.
