Brock Lesnar received a temporary suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission at Tuesday’s hearing.
Lesnar’s failed drug tests were from his sample collected on June 28 and July 9 leading up to his fight with Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Lesnar tested positive for hydroxy-clomiphene, which is an anti-estrogen blocker that is on the banned list.
“I think – to my fans that watched me in the Octagon – I thank them for their support. This has been a bumpy road,” Lesnar recently told TMZ Sports. I’m gonna get through this alright. There will be a day, maybe, that they might see me again in the Octagon.”
Lesnar is expected to get a formal hearing with the commission at a later date. Lesnar is facing up to two years from both USADA and the NSAC after testing positive for hydroxy-clomiphene. Lesnar will also get fines for the failed drug tests.
