Although former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has not made any official announcements regarding this future in MMA, he has reportedly notified the UFC of his retirement from MMA, according to MMA Fighting. He has also been removed from the USADA drug testing pool, which means that he is no longer on the UFC roster.
USADA gave Lesnar a one-year suspension for failing his drug tests that were collected on June 28, and July 9 for anti-estrogen drugs called clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene surrounding his fight at UFC 200 last July against Mark Hunt, which Lesnar won by decision. However, with his suspension from the NAC, that fight was overturned to a no contest. Back on December 15th, the Nevada Athletic Commission settled Lesnar’s drug test case and fined him $250k of his disclosed $2.5 million purse and gave him a one-year suspension as well.
He would have been eligible to return on July 15, 2017, but his suspension has been frozen since he is no longer in the testing pool. He would not be able to fight in the world famous Octagon until he serves the duration of his suspension, which would be five months starting from when he re-enters the testing pool.
Lesnar will be wrestling Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, FL in April.
