Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg officially announced for WWE Survivor Series

WWE officially announced on Tuesday that Goldberg would face Brock Lesnar at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV event. This will be the first pro wrestling match that Goldberg has worked in 12-years. The two Superstars have wrestled before as Goldberg defeated Lesnar at Wrestlemania 20 in 2004.

As of right now, the plan is for this to be a one-off match and there are no plans for Goldberg after next month. Of course, this is the wrestling business and the old saying in wrestling is “never say never.” There are no plans for another match between these two at WrestleMania because WWE already has their Mania plans for Lesnar laid out. Goldberg is scheduled to be on this coming Monday’s Raw to respond to Lesnar. Both men are booked for the Survivor Series go-home Raw on 11/13.

The WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario,Canada. Both RAW and SmackDown Live stars will appear at the event, which will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. No other matches for the event have been announced as of this writing.
