Brock Lesnar went home after opening segment on WWE SmackDown, backstage segment was pre-taped

PWInsider is reporting that the backstage segment that aired during SmackDown was pre-taped.

PWI stated that Lesnar left the arena after the opening segment. Lesnar confronted Roman Reigns and then hit a couple of suplexes on him before attacking The Usos.

In the backstage segment that aired later in the show, Lesnar interrupted a Jeff Hardy interview and said that he is now a free agent, thanks to his good friend Paul Heyman. It was reported that there is an expectation among some people that Lesnar will be at Raw this Monday but that is not 100 percent confirmed.

For what it's worth, Roman Reigns told Paul Heyman to make sure that Jimmy and Jey Uso get drafted to SmackDown and Heyman was told to be at Raw and if the draft move does not happen then Jimmy and Jey are supposed to leave Heyman "for dead."

WWE is teasing that Heyman might still be secretly aligned with Lesnar and is working against the best interests of Reigns. Reigns will defend that Universal Championship against Lesnar at Crown Jewel in 3 weeks.
