For years now, Brock Lesnar has used WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and UFC President Dana White against each other as leverage when it comes to maximizing the most amount of money that he can get out of each promotion.
With that said, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lesnar’s contract expires in either May or June of 2020.
Lesnar lost the Universal Title to Seth Rollins at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network. He had been linked to a fight with UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier this year but the fight got nixed due to his retirement from the sport.
Lesnar won this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He beat Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Baron Corbin, Randy Orton, Andrade, Finn Balor, and Mustafa Ali. Lesnar hasn’t been seen on WWE programming when he attempted to cash in his MITB contract on Rollins at the Super ShowDown event.
